iPhone 3G SFR Configuration
Si vous êtes comme moi et que vous êtes encore engagé chez SFR ou que vous ne voulez pas changer d'opérateur, il vous faut alors configurer l'appareil pour aller sur Internet.
La manipulation pour la configuration Internet pour votre iPhone 3G SFR à faire est simple, il faut aller dans :
- 1. Réglages
- 2. Général
- 3. Réseau
- 4. Réseau de données cellulaires (ou Edge selon votre version iPhone)
- 5. Changer le nom du point d'accès en : WAPSFR
Et voilà le tour est joué ! Vous pouvez maintenant profiter d'Internet sur votre iPhone 3G avec l'opérateur SFR.
Pour avoir accès au portail SFR (Vodafone Live), il suffit dans Safari iPhone de taper : wap.sfr.net
Astuce : pour configurer votre répondeur SFR à la place de la messagerie visuelle Orange (cela fera juste un appel direct au répondeur, pas un répondeur sfr visuel hein! :)), faites comme si vous vouliez passer un appel et tapez :
*5005*86*123# et la touche d'appel.
Mise à jour du billet le 25/08/2008:
L'accès à internet de votre iPhone passe par la passerelle WAPSFR de SFR (bien qu'il s'agisse du Web et non du Wap).
Seulement, la navigation n'ira pas plus loin que les protocoles HTTP et HTTPS, ce qui signifie qu'avec un forfait SFR Illimythics par exemple les applications Mail et Youtube ne fonctionneront pas!
Il faut pour cela configurer comme passerelle : WEBSFR, et ce sera alors du hors forfait si vous n'avez pas un forfait avec un Pass Surf Web (forfait plus cher que les autres).
Pour éviter ce désagrément en attendant peut être un geste de SFR, vous pouvez visionner vos vidéos préférés sur m.youtube.com.
Maintenant pour récupérer vos mails sur votre iPhone vous pourrez grâce à Mail2Web, un serveur Exchange gratuit qui permet de pusher un compte mail de votre choix sur votre iPhone, par protocole http.
Il faut donc entrer les paramètres de votre mail sur le site Mail2Web (après inscription) et ensuite il vous affichera les mails de votre boite email en ligne et vous donnera aussi, après activation du Mail2Web LIVE, les paramètres à rentrer dans votre iPhone pour qu'il y pousse vos mails!

Mise à jour du billet le 25/11/2008:
L'option MAIL est gratuite sur SFR avec les nouveaux Illimythics 3G +, plus besoin de passer par Mail2Web.
Depuis le mois de novembre 2008 , SFR ajoute aux forfaits Illimythics la possibilité d'envoyer et de recevoir des Emails directement depuis l'application Mail de l'iPhone.
Cette option est gratuite et mise automatiquement en place par le service client SFR (ou sinon appelez le service client SFR et demander à activer l'option Mail iPhone!).
La configuration de cette nouvelle option sur votre iPhone 3g SFR est simple :
- 1. Réglages
- 2. Général
- 3. Réseau
- 4. Réseau de données cellulaires (ou Edge selon votre version iPhone)
- 5. Changer le nom du point d'accès en : SL2SFR
- 6. Pour le smtp (pour envoyer des mails en 3G avec sfr) : mail.sfr.net
A noter cependant que cela ne fonctionne qu'avec les forfaits Illymithics 3G +, si vous avez les anciens forfaits comme moi sans le "+", il vous faudra le faire changer !
